Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, New York. Architect and develop solutions that will advance internal security monitoring and controls. Perform Analytics on daily ingested data using spark Streaming. Use Spark to transform and analyze data from Kafka and ECS-S3 buckets. Develop Spark streaming applications for real-time processing on data flowing through Kakfa topics. Participate in design sessions, code reviews, and system design for security related data flows. Develop Rest API interface to trigger Spark jobs in the backend to crunch data from ECS Archive system and provide the results to users. Develop Spark Streaming/Batch applications to process and update data in MongoDB. Develop integration services to push security detections into the Security Incident Response Team’s SIEM.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, a related Engineering field, or a field related to the financial industry such as Business Administration, Business or Finance and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related field or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, a related Engineering field, or a field related to the financial industry such as Business Administration, Business or Finance and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include two (2) years of experience with: designing, developing, implementing, and supporting new and existing ingestion data flow to AWS-S3 or HDFS and Kafka; azure Cloud, APIS Development, and Spark-Scala application development; working cross-functionally with business clients, administrators, and other developers in design, development, and implementation of new and existing solution; developing technology documentation to support technical concepts; and building data pipelines using spark hive to process data on OnPrem and Cloud environments. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with: vulnerability (VM) specialized tools such as Qualys, Rapid7, or Palo Alto Prisma; leveraging Linux or Windows Operating Systems to appropriately inform and advise management on high and critical vulnerabilities detected by the sensors; gathering data from various sources and using that data to understand the risk posture within an environment; setup continues integration, delivery, and deployment techniques; writing programs in any programing language such as Python to setup infrastructure as code for the vulnerability management tools; public clouds including AWS and GCP; and SIEM platform to triage to support detection engineers for Vulnerability related alerts.
Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $174,000 to $250,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end
