Job Title: Director of Fulfillment/COO
Remuneration: $150000-$180000k/y
Job Summary:
We are looking for a full-time head of fulfillment to join our USA team. You will be responsible for building and implementing fulfillment processes. We’re looking for a versatile individual who can handle a wide range of tasks, from minor steps to general managerial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting client onboarding process and development strategies.
- Drives continuous achievement of financial, quality, safety, productivity, and environmental targets
- Provide strategic direction in areas of supply chain management, lean continuous improvement, and execution of key defined processes
- Creating and building the technology tool suite vision and roadmap for our next-generation production scheduling and labor management across all the fulfillment centers in North America
- To plan and manage the budget for automation solutions
- Optimize and warehouse deployment to drive customer profitability and customer service level
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
- Set Operation KPI and ensure they are met in accordance with initial figures
Your profile….
- Leadership skills to meet responsibilities for projects and manage the Fulfillment team as appropriate to achieve positive change
- A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, project management, business, logistics operations, or other related field
- Skilled in developing and executing a project plan, to the successful conclusion of on-time-delivery, on-budget, and customer satisfaction
- Ability to connect with key stakeholders to initiate change on an organization-wide scale
- A track record of exceeding targets, goals, and KPIs
- Excellent understanding and articulation with different Enterprise Software systems (SAP and JD Edwards)
- 10+ years of experience managing full-time and part-time employees, or serving on leadership teams
- Technical and applied understanding of digital logistics tools, such as transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory management systems (IMS)
- Independent work and ability to handle all issues that arise within the department.
- 10+ years of industry experience in fulfillment, supply chain operations, or warehouse management
- Profound experience in operations management and delivering change in complex and ‘charged’ environment
