We are seeking a Fleet Vehicle Diesel Mechanic for our APEX division at our Deer Park, TX facility. Air Products Express Services is a 24/7 365 day a year services group specializing in temporary supply of Nitrogen and Hydrogen. The APEX Vehicle mechanic will work with the Deer Park lead mechanic and is responsible for the maintenance of company owned tractors, tanker trailers and pumpers.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on tractors, pumpers, and tanker trailers. Document/record work performed electronically on computer-based maintenance system. Perform road repairs when necessary. Perform electrical/electronic repairs on tractors, pumpers, and trailers. Gas and electrical welding experience a plus.

Qualifications:

• Diesel Engine Repair experience is a plus.
• Perform cryogenic maintenance to include repair/replacing valves, pumps, etc.
• Hydraulics and pump knowledge a plus.
• Mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills.
• High School diploma/equivalent 1-3 years vehicle maintenance experience.
• Welding knowledge and experience a plus.
• Solid work history.
• CDL holder is a plus.
• Energetic, highly motivated, well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety. Strong teammate with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits.
