Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Motor Vehicle Inspector to join our team! In this role you will perform vehicle inspections.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide excellent and courteous customer service.
• Responsible for the accuracy of vehicle inspection data including: vehicle type, engine size, inspection, sticker, etc.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area by removing oil, water and other materials from the lane and equipment
• Explain vehicle inspection results to customers in a clear, concise, understandable and polite manner.
• Perform complete vehicle safety and emissions inspections within the lane and enter data into the computer.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain a New Jersey inspector’s license upon employment (paid training provided)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Computer skills preferred
• Must possess and use good customer service skills
• Must have good oral communications

• Paid job training to get NJ State Inspector’s License
• Starting wage of $15.69 per hour with promotions up to $23.26 per hour
• Uniforms (including winter coats and shoes) provided at no cost
• 4 paid breaks per day
• Paid Time Off: 14 paid holidays per year – including your birthday! Earn up to 10 sick days and up to 6 vacation days your first year, and then 10 sick days and 15 vacation days at the beginning of the next calendar year.
• $3,000 sign-on bonus for full time new hires and $1,500 sign-on bonus for part-time new hires, to be paid after 60 days of employment

$15.69 – $23.26
