About The Role

Peloton is seeking a User Research Coordinator to support the innovation, iteration, and optimization of our Bike, Tread, Row, Apps and eCommerce experiences. This role will work directly with the User Research team to facilitate research projects and programs. The role sits on the Product Strategy User Research team and reports to a Director of User Researcher.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

The following are responsibilities for a User Research Coordinator, with the opportunity to define and grow areas of focus or specialty.

• Closely follow existing processes to ensure that all coordination and research processes adhere to ethical, Legal, Compliance and Security standards.
• Maintain panels and communities of research participants, ensuring fidelity of participants and engaging as necessary for on-demand and ongoing research efforts.
• Support the User Research team at Peloton by sending out research related communications and organizing all previous research and upcoming research in a central database.
• Ensure that all participants have a positive experience with Peloton. Manage direct communication with participants, including member outreach, scheduling, study preparation (ensuring participants understand what will be asked of them and signing any documents regarding disclosure, consent, release and waiver), and prompt incentive delivery.
• As needed, assist User Researchers on research-related tasks such as building recruitment screeners, programming surveys and/or taking notes during study sessions.
• Manage time in order to execute multiple coordination efforts for multiple User Researchers with overlapping timelines. Proactively share timely project updates with Research partners.
• Maintain on-site research facilities; ensure spaces are clean, organized and appropriately stocked for research sessions. Provide A/V support for Researchers during study sessions. Liaise with internal A/V and facilities teams as needed and help Researchers troubleshoot roadblocks in real time.
• Work with research leaders to plan and execute team events and activities, such as on-sites and celebrations.
• Assist Research Operations Specialist with vendor and tools related tasks.
• Support User Researchers at Peloton by coordinating participants, logistics, facilities, and tools for a variety of user research methodologies including qualitative usability studies (remote and in-person, moderated and unmoderated), surveys, focus groups and in-home interviews.
• Monitor ongoing research studies such as surveys, usability tests, and video diaries to ensure adequate participation.
• Understand and document participant availability based on the testing plan and available time slots; coordinate and confirm participant time slots and handle any scheduling changes.

• Strong attention to detail and adept at organizing information
• Coordinate multiple simultaneous projects on different timelines
• Passionate about customer service and fostering a positive participant experience
• Show creativity and initiative coming up with new ideas for sourcing participants, internally and externally
• 1+ years of research or administrative coordination experience; relevant internships can count toward experience
• Collaborate well with team members, stakeholders, consultants, and vendors
• Flexible and adaptable around unexpected changes to plan and process
• Proactively address issues and solve problems that might come up in the logistical planning and execution of a research plan
• Dependable; follow through and stay on top of things without direction

BONUS

• Experience in a software technology company, working with Product or UX teams
• Passionate about User Experience; desire to grow into a career in User Research
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficiency with UX/User Research software and tools, such as: UserTesting, Qualtrics, DScout, Optimal Workshop, AirTable, Asana, Condens.

Base Salary: $72,400.00 to $94,100.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Peloton’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
