User Experience Writer Jobs

Our Client, a well known brand, is looking for a UX Writer to support on messaging across platforms. The UX writer will implement on-device messaging that informs customers about error messages, notifications, statuses, log-in page, edits ,etc.

Freelance, for 12 months, with potential to extend

Hybrid, Culver City or Cupertino 3 days - no exceptions

Rate: $72.46/hr+

Key Qualifications

Have an unrelenting passion for user-focused product experiences.

• Believe in advancing the tools creators use to manage, describe, and deliver content.

• Have experience working with internal tooling in the creator arts—TV/film, music,

podcasting, books, etc.

• Know what it’s like to develop nuanced solutions while working with existing patterns

and architecture.

• Are curious about every piece of a user journey, from error states to success criteria.

• Oscillate between left- and right-brained writing, from storytelling to systematic

thinking.

• Know how to work with wireframes and functional specs.

• Are interested in proposing what’s right only after exploring why everything else might

be wrong.

• Develop well-informed points of view, while also remaining open to adjustments

based on input from others.

• Can write from scratch, edit existing copy, and think beyond the written word with

input from multiple team members.

• Think long-term, but act quickly.

• Are comfortable handling several projects simultaneously.
