Treasury Director Jobs

About the role:

We are a publicly traded company based in San Mateo, California and we are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Treasury to join our finance team. The Sr. Manager, Treasury will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and will be responsible for managing the cash management activities for various subsidiaries, as well as owning the cash flow forecasting process.

This role is based in San Mateo, CA and reports into Finance leadership.

You will:

• Assist with bank account management, including opening and closing accounts, and updating signatories.
• Identify and support implementation of working capital initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze the company's cash balances and develop strategies to optimize the company's cash position while minimizing risk.
• Own the cash flow forecasting process and develop accurate and timely cash flow projections on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
• Coordinate all intercompany cash movements, working closely with Legal, Tax, and Accounting to optimize cash balances.
• Ensure compliance with all SOX controls and regulatory requirements, including FBAR.
• Support the finance team with ad hoc duties as required.
• Manage the day-to-day cash management activities for various subsidiaries including daily cash position monitoring and investment of excess cash.
• Assist with annual corporate insurance renewal process.
• Assess, manage, and mitigate interest rate and foreign currency exposure.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable team to manage cash disbursements and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Maintain operational banking relationships and oversee implementation of improvement strategies.

You have:

• Knowledge of bank products and services.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Experience with cash forecasting and management.
• 10+ years of relevant Treasury experience, public company experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel (can perform complex functions)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
