Transportation & Purchasing Assistant Jobs

Full-Time position Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Responsible for assisting with the coordination and scheduling of company trucks as well as LTL/TL Carriers. This includes working with the Manager to develop and implement plans and schedules, coordinating with the driver and being a part of Dispatch as well as maintaining records. There will be general office duties that include but are not limited to answering phones and emails as well as filing and data entry. Computer skills are a must.
This will also be somewhat of a hands-on position; therefore an insurable driving record is necessary for occasional local driving and possible tow motor usage.
Skills/Qualifications:
Hard working, reliable, organized, clean Motor Vehicle Report, Drug-free, team mentality and must have computer skills. Pay-rate will be adjusted with qualifications.
Pay Rate:
$15-$19 / HR
