What you’ll be doing:

· Enter customer RFQs into system

· Request quotes from vendors

· Research market for best price and availability

· Enter vendor quotes into the system

· Price quotes and send to customers

Who we’re looking for:

· The Purchasing Assistant will be providing support to the purchasing department, therefore he/she needs to be a team player who is resourceful, thorough, and responsible

· Because of the fast-paced environment in which he/she will work, this person should be energetic, organized, and have a distinct attention to detail

· This self-starter should desire to work in a small office setting that is in constant motion

· They will be expected to learn quickly, produce results, and add value to the company

· Naturally, this passionate Purchasing Assistant is attuned to providing superior customer service and enjoys maintaining relationships with vendors and logistical agents

· This loyal and hard-working person deals with aviation industry professionals and therefore needs to bring strong written skills as well as professionalism to the table

· Excellent listening and speaking skills are a must

· 1-2 years of professional work experience

· Prior work (or coursework) in aviation (preferred, but not required)
