The Transportation Manager is accountable for supporting the overall logistics operations from managing the onboarding and maintenance of a TMS system and ensuring streamlined operational productivity between our internal Olipop team and our external partners on behalf of Olipop. The Transportation Manager will be responsible for scoping, vetting, onboarding, and maintaining Olipop's chosen TMS system. The Transportation Manager will have significant authority over strategic partnerships with external system vendors and continuously evaluate and implement new broker partnerships that align with our overall strategic objectives. This individual will demonstrate Olipop leadership principles of leading by example, communicating effectively, being a team player, and delivering results to ensure optimal logistics performance with our carrier network nationwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee logistics database (TMS) operations, ensuring all rates, processes, and overall operations are monitored and updated as needed.
• Implement a TMS system that will support Olipop's long term growth strategy.
• Lead business and performance reviews with senior management, business units, warehouse locations, finance and other key stakeholders as it relates to transportation and logistics.
• Develop and oversee analytical processes and practices, while defining and implementing savings/performance improvement metrics (KPI's) to monitor progress and ensure savings and performance targets are achieved in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Establish and lead cross functional teams of key stakeholders to collaboratively define business requirements, develop strategic transportation plans and execute initiatives that create value and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Ability to think strategically and execute /problem solve tactical issues
• Professional, mature individual who possesses strict ethical standards
• Proven ability to develop strategic plans and manage implementation and execution, along with an ability to analyze data and identify root causes
• Experience implementing a TMS system end to end
• Functional strategy development and delivery experience; conversion of business insights/needs into Supply Chain strategy
• Dynamic problem solver - comfortable challenging assumptions and offering solutions with incomplete information
• Communication skills (present ideas effectively, actively listen and work across functional boundaries)
• 5-8 years of transportation experience in CPG related fields
• Demonstrated experience in establishing KPIs, performance reviews and accountability measures for carriers

Compensation

$110,000-$120,000 base salary + bonus
