General Description of the Role


The Training Coordinator is responsible for a variety of responsibilities to support and enable the business of Campari America. As a Training Coordinator, this role works closely with HR, EHS and Operations to ensure the delivery, consistency and value of training programs at the KY location. Position will conduct needs assessments, evaluate training resources, develop planning and scheduling tools, submit budget proposals as well as execution of training.


Key Responsibilities and Activities


  • Facilitates all required technical training to all KY employees to ensure compliance with ISO and OSHA Standards.

  • Partnering with department leads, develop & evaluate Job Operating Procedures (JOP) as well as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in all departments and create a consistent, formal approach to completion of JOP’s in a timely manner. Set the schedules, identify the trainers and complete observations to ensure competency.

  • Track and evaluate outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the Company using Vector and Success Factors.

  • Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on trainings to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Keep current on trends and opportunities to learn new methods and techniques for future enhancements.

  • Work closely with Department Leads to create training schedules, manage training/competency matrices, for employees with the least disruption to operations.

  • Design, develop and facilitate custom trainings as needed to support capability gaps for employees.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:


  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education or HR is required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience delivering training to various client groups.

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data.
  • Strong command of English language with ability to communicate verbally and in writing to both internal and external customers, to include strong presentation skills.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    • Understanding of training assessments, delivery methods, processes for training.
    • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, to influence and partner effectively with plant supervisors/managers
    • Excellent working knowledge and skill using Microsoft office tool suite (word, excel, power point, email etc.)
    • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to deliver on commitments and follow-up
    • Ability to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment in prioritization and when to elevate issues for resolution
    • Strong command of English language with ability to communicate verbally and in writing to both internal and external customers, to include strong presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated creativity and ability to identify opportunities to enhance training process.
    • Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design and e-learning platforms.
    • Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data.
