Job Title: Training Coordinator
Reports To: Emily Maffei, Director of Training
CWS Portfolio: 100+ properties, 30,000+ A units in North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, California, Washington, and Tennessee.
Location: Austin Corporate Office

Department Purpose: To equip new and existing team members with skills and knowledge necessary to effectively do their job.
What You Will Do
As Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting training and development needs for 700+ on-site team members. Primary areas of focus include contributing to the successful onboarding of each new hire as it relates to training, and managing all administrative aspects of required CWS training, development, and compliance courses.

  • Be a dynamic and engaging representative for CWS, and an ambassador for the Training and Development department.

  • Demonstrate support for company initiatives.
Coordinate New Hire and Development training:
  • Send an individual welcome letter to new team members with detailed instructions and completion dates for training assignments.
  • Provide all new hires and their manager with a role-specific New Hire Training plan.
  • Collect and record completion of New Hire Training Plans and assignments.
  • Answer questions related to new hire training plans and all other classes delivered or sponsored by the CWS Training team.
Demonstrate proficiency in the following ways:
  • Participate in creating and delivering accurate written and instructor-led training resources including presentations, job-aids, job guides, tip sheets, FAQs, flow charts, step-by-step instructions, and Zoom or MS Teams classes.
  • Identify required compliance courses by region.
Use the Learning Management System (LMS) to:
  • Organize education, certificates, and activities.
  • Record participant attendance, test scores, and individual development plans as needed.
  • Regularly and routinely ensure information in the LMS is current.
  • Upload completed learning plans.
Effectively collaborate within CWS by:
  • Monitoring email sent to [email protected] and take the appropriate action.
  • Setting up Zoom webinars and calls as necessary and communicating those details to the required audience.
  • Developing a working knowledge of CWS’ standard operating procedures, policies, and processes.
  • Revising training materials as needed in concert with the Vice President of Training.
  • Drafting and sending departmental communications upon approval.
  • Compiling results and sending reports to specified recipients.
  • Administering knowledge checks, participant surveys, and other forms of evaluation.
