Job Description

Position Summary:

The Training Coordinator will oversee all training-related matters at CCA. The Training Coordinator will identify training needs and develop, manage, coordinate all staff trainings. Candidates must be very organized, self-directed, have the ability to work independently, demonstrate attention to detail, and have the ability to manage multiple projects. Full time position Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. Opportunity for remote work available upon supervisor approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Map out annual training plans by program and staff position to meet accreditation, licensing, and CCBHC certification standards.
  • Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house), ensuring trainers have appropriate qualifications
  • Lead Training Committee, and coordinate with other internal and external workgroups, where applicable.
  • Coordinate with partners and Designated Collaborating Organizations (DCO’s) sharing training opportunities, ensuring training requirements are met, etc.
  • Research, outreach, select, and schedule reputable training resources or methods.
  • Market available trainings to employees and provide necessary information about sessions.
  • Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed as part of agency’s CQI plan.
  • Assist in the transition to an electronic learning management system, including the transition of existing training materials, staff training plans, and attendance tracking.
  • Oversee and manage the agency’s learning management system. Provide technical support and training on the system to programs and staff.
  • Use known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques.
  • Design, prepare and/or order educational aids and materials.
  • Provide technical support to trainers as needed during virtual sessions.
  • Produce progress, data, and/or written reports as needed.
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session.
  • Develop and deliver trainings as needed.
  • Actively participate in regular, reflective, and collaborative supervision. Be prepared with questions, concerns, and other related material prior to beginning each supervisory session. Share pertinent information with supervisor and team members regarding work progress, success, barriers, concerns and other areas that may have an impact on the Program or Agency.
