Description
- Contributing to the growth of the company through a successful team
- Conduct professional growth training of team members to maximize their potential
- Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires
- Liaise with trainees to ensure their training needs are met and provide assistance as needed
- Meet with Operations Process Manager, Sales leadership and Human Resources on a regular basis to identify near term ongoing training needs. Work with department management to identify training/transfer opportunities
- Facilitate learning based on site requirements through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, hands-on training, on-the-job coaching, and virtual or computer-based training, using 70/20/10 learning principles
- Creating and maintaining SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills
- Assist in the identification and evaluation of “on-the-job trainers’” performance and the effectiveness of training programs; providing recommendations for improvement
- Track, record, and maintain files in LMS
- Analyze trainee assessments and evaluations to measure training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training programs that meet the needs of the organization and employees
- Taking feedback and instruction from a wide variety of departments and individuals in order to create training material that reflects internal standards
- Coordinate instructor assignments and provide ongoing support and guidance to instructors
- Responsible for full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role in the wholesale/ASA industry.
- APTD/CPTD certification (preferred). It may be substituted for some of years of required experience and knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and training software programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation.
- Strong organization, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- The ability to thrive in a team environment to build effective relationships and work with people from diverse backgrounds, work independently, multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, perform job duties with minimal guidance, and meet deadlines
- Experience with virtual training platforms and technologies.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks to address the most critical and pressing demands first
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
