Job Description
Reports to the Training Program Manager and is responsible for various cross positional responsibilities including but not limited to coordinating training schedules, training record data entry, training and qualification document processing as well as working within the facility Learning Management System (LMS) to enter and maintain personnel training and qualification profiles.
Assisting with training logistics planning and execution for instructor-led classes, including but not limited to finalizing dates, location, scope, presenter availability, training material readiness, and roster management. Ensuring that a comprehensive training records system is maintained.
This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree can be substituted for 2 year of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree for 4 years of experience.
Experience:
  • 5 years of experience with data entry and filing both hard and electronic records
  • Initiative-taking, resourceful, and able to work autonomously
  • Working knowledge of a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to foster positive relations and influence outcomes
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred candidates will have:
  • Proficiency with the “Success Factors” Learning Management System
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with training logistics planning and execution for instructor-led classes and computer based learning, including but not limited to finalizing dates, location, scope, presenter availability, training material readiness, and roster management
  • Maintain employee training records
  • Performs weekly records processing and filing
  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers

  • Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
  • Performs data entry into the LMS as necessary

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.

Amentum has joined with Bechtel to create an LLC, known as the Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) Join us as we make history at the Hanford Vit Plant, known as the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant. We are designing and building a one-of-a-kind facility that will turn radioactive and chemical waste left over from World War II and Cold War plutonium production into a form safe for disposal. Your efforts will help protect the nearby Columbia River and the communities, salmon, and wildlife along its shorelines throughout the Northwest.
Sitting at the confluence of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima rivers near two mountain ranges, our community provides access to year-round outdoor recreation, 300 days of sun a year, more than 200 wineries within a 50-mile radius, and the amenities of large cities just a three-hour drive (or short flight) to Seattle and Portland.
This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $72,755.90 - $109,498.06 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
