Position is remote, but travel to the SL Command Center in Lockborne, OH is required.

Training & Communication Specialist

Execute and support the knowledge transfer strategy (via training and communications) to improve the knowledge level of current and future Service Logistics capabilities by developing materials and toolkits.

• Continuous improvement in training materials and training topics via feedback from Service management about common issues raised.
• Work with Service Management team to update FAQs related to tickets raised on User errors and ensure they are communicated to the Regional training team.
• Keep up-to-date with new Request for Enhancements (RFEs) and new innovations and ensure training materials are updated and that the intended audience are communicated about the changes.
• Support the Quality Manager and Training team to build communications / training materials as designed.
• Produce and maintain a set of Operations training materials and supporting documents (eg. Customer Work Instruction templates) that is up-to-date and aligned with global standards.
• Setup regular feedback process with Service Management team to highlight common issues and put in place corrective actions (eg. Update to training materials, re-training) as a result of this feedback
• Create and maintain a training records database maintaining details of all training delivered and version control all documentation
• Works with sites to develop an in house trainer and performs "Train the Trainer" training

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of training experience in the logistics environment
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in an logistics environment in transport or operations roles
