Job Summary:
The Naniq Human Resources Recruiter is a newly created position to support the growth and direction of Naniq in the Hawaii market. The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment and on boarding process, from sourcing and attracting talent through generating recruitment plans and onboarding new hires to support hiring managers in the hiring process. The recruiter also serves as a resource providing new hire employee advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies and procedures. Identifies trends issues and recommends courses of action. Other areas include staffing; compensation; benefits; recognition; training; organizational development; communication; and team building. This highly visible position will need to network and develop strong business relationships within the community as well as with Naniq Management team.

Acting as the MLC, Naniq is able to capture incremental profit and deepen relationships with shippers – all to the benefit of the partnered MLC. Duties and Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience proficiency: Skilled (demonstrates ample knowledge and skills of duties, with 1-3 years of experience).
Minimum One (1) year in recruitment/employee relations

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with managers/supervisors to acquire a solid understanding of their operations and the type of talent required to ensure their success and conduct recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers.
- Assists with compiling, updating, verifying, generating, and distributing department reports on personnel-related issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Build and identify networks through industry groups, contacts, association memberships, current employees, partnerships with other organizations and career fairs/employer of the day events to identify qualified candidates.
- Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on employment activities, hiring needs, and trends.
- Review and coordinate candidate applications, conducts phone interviews/screenings as needed, refers candidates to hiring managers and participates in applicant interviews as needed.
- Continuously explores and applies new recruiting sources, job boards, forums, social media and other technology to assist in growing diverse candidate pools.
- Responsible for the development and execution of Naniq’s strategic recruitment plan and procedures.
- Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; train and educate employees of safety requirements; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
- And communicate regularly with hiring managers.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Identify greatest needs through data analysis, develop, maintain, and present HR recruiting metrics.
- Ensures the delivery of Naniq onboarding, orientation, and training for employees in cooperation with Management.
- Provide ongoing information and communicates with employees on company human resources policies and procedures.
- Responsible to attract and retain top diverse talent for all levels of the organization.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience proficiency: Skilled (demonstrates ample knowledge and skills of duties, with 1-3 years of experience).

- Project and team management/leadership skills and experience. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Assignments require application of knowledge and expertise to make decisions on complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, clear verbal and written; organization skills required.
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills including interpreting data.
- Must have valid driver’s license; must have reliable transportation.
- Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and ADP are preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of human resource policies and procedures
- Internal/external customer service skills are essential for all job functions.
- Lifting and carrying 25 pounds; Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers.
- Intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time; Some bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain)
- Office, Warehouse environment, remote and in-person, interior and exterior settings, intermittent noise, travel.
