Trade Show and Events Coordinator
Do you want to join a Fintech startup at the ground level for an amazing growth opportunity? We continue to grow and are building out our growth team to maintain our momentum!
About US: Founded in 2015 by college roommates Sean De Clercq and Erik Straub, Kickfurther is disrupting the world of business financing. Our marketplace model breaks away from traditional factoring and PO-financing in a way that enables growing small to medium size consumer goods (CPG) businesses to access capital so they can produce inventory. Kickfurther is a Boomtown 2015 and 43North 2018 alumni and is backed by investors behind companies like Zoom, Tesla Robinhood and more. We have funded over $150MM for our clients!
Ever wonder what happens when a company gets their largest order ever from someone like REI or their Amazon sales are through the roof? How do they pay for all the inventory to meet the demand of these sales channels? Sometimes they don’t have the money and miss out on a game-changing opportunity. Other times, they resort to giving up significant equity or take on exorbitantly high debt just to produce their stuff. This is where we come in.
Kickfurther created a model to help business owners affordably raise funds for inventory to grow their business without giving up equity or taking on onerous debt.

- Coordinate the logistics of outbound and inbound shipments, including packing boxes and monitoring shipment progress
- Manage event attendees, encompassing attendee registration, securing hotel room blocks, and establishing and maintaining booth staffing schedules
- Transform business objectives into captivating and impactful experiences
- Act as a project manager for trade shows and other events covering both sides of our marketplace
- Collaborate with department leadership to devise and execute lead cultivation strategies, including outbound email, before, during and after events
- Formulate and manage event budgets
- Manage an event calendar encompassing 20-30 events annually, while keeping track of vital details such as contract status, due dates, contact information, venue details, and more
Qualifications:
- Openness to trying new things
- 3+ years of experience planning and executing B2B events; experience with trade shows required
- Desire to work in a higher-volume, fast-paced environment where each team member is expected to adopt an entrepreneurial approach to owning their work and results
