Job Description
This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 11 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
CW-Brand Marketing III
The Brand Marketing job contributes to the development of marketing initiatives to maximize brand appeal and to ensure customer experience is in line with brand image and strategy. Working independently with limited supervision, this job manages brand marketing projects to conduct and analyze research, identify target customers, and customize marketing messages, media channels and strategies.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
  • Develops knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with more experienced team members.
  • Conducts research to define targeted customer segments and determine the key values that drive buying behavior for each segment.
  • Collaborates to develop brand positioning, associated marketing themes, and media channels that align with target customer demographics.
  • Compiles and analyzes data on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the brand.
  • Helps coach and delegate work to lower level team members.
  • Analyzes opinion research to determine perceptions of brands, and to identify opportunities for increased marketing/advertising as well as potential for additional product or service prospects.
  • Drafts brand marketing materials that resonate with targeted customer segments to promote brand appeal.
  • Interpreting data for marketing trends and reporting to management for new or potentially new product or service development.
  • Researches and assists with the development of marketing strategies to maximize brand appeal for target customers; assists with preparation of recommendations for more senior team members and/or management.

This role is responsible for providing support to the Brand Activation Show Services unit. This role will work across the team to support the Enterprise marketing presence at events and sponsorships nationwide. This individual will support the Show Services team, ensuring all programs are branded with quality exhibit assets, signage and premium items. This individual will work with colleagues, business partners and vendors proactively to ensure operational excellence for all program support. In addition, this role will provide ad hoc project and event management support for key programs throughout the year. This role will report to the Head of Show Services.
Show Services Support
  • Manage requests for Enterprise self-service portals
  • Manage 1:1 support with business colleagues, track outcomes and volume for reporting etc. for self-service portals
  • Work with event program owners on their branded assets and exhibiting needs for Enterprise Tier II and III portfolio of programs
  • Assist in the development of DIY tools and process improvements
  • Use Exhibit Force software to place orders for assets
  • Assist in development of new assets (e.g. Exhibit Booths, banners, etc.)
  • Work with Show Services vendors to ensure fulfillment and on-site support needs are met
  • Process invoices related to show services
  • Make recommendations of asset development and playbook enhancements for the self -service portals
Required Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Prior event management/planning experience
  • Command of Microsoft suite of products specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Base Pay Range: $53.57/hr. - $60.18/hr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
