Test Engineer - Remote

• Develop Automation Test Scripts using Java and Selenium
• Engage with DevOps engineers to create a Jenkins environment for continuous integration of automated test scripts for team’s web applications.
• Perform setup, configuration, and maintenance of automated testing environments with a focus on continuous testing and DevOps processes.
• Apply, design, and develop automation strategies and design automation strategies.
• Ability to research new testing tools and strategies.
• Continuously engage with your team’s business analyst and developers and rapidly automate manual test cases.
• Build automation framework and re-usable automation tests/test scripts using Selenium.

• Effectively communicate with your Agile team members to continuously deliver and improve integrated UI/UX web and API products of high quality.
• Assist DevOps engineers establish continuous integration test script in Jenkins build platform.
• Maintain all test artifacts in GIT repositories.
• Work with Product Owners to ensure all members of the Scrum team (Business Analyst, Designers, Testers) actively engage and participate in refining requirements as User Stories and Acceptance Criteria; and in determining level of effort for each User Story (i.e., story points).
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, to host in a Jenkin build platform for continuous integration of code.
• Work closely with Business Analyst or Developers to automate manual test cases.
• Proficient working in a team-driven Agile Scum development environment using Atlassian JIRA Agile tool.

• BS in computer sciences or related field or equivalent automated testing experience.
• Experience in Performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
• Experience in writing API test scripts using Postman is a plus.
• Proficient in creating and executing automated test scripts using Selenium.
• 2-5 years of experience developing automated test scripts.

• Able to efficiently work in fast paced environment with team members.
• Proficiency in Java language is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems creatively and independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at every level.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities as directed.
• Ability to work within a team environment and contribute to consensus-based decision making.
