We are hiring a Junior-Level Automation Tester in support of an ongoing project. This position can be remote or based out of Reston, VA. The applicant will be responsible for creating and setting up automation processes, correcting issues, helping to move the project forward and assist/mentor other team members.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Python experience would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Bug tracking tool like JIRA
• Hands on experience with Rest API testing and familiar with API tools.
• Hands on, recent experience with Selenium, Cucumber and Java
• Experience working closely with developers in an agile environment.
• Recent college graduate or 1 year of hands-on experience in system and web-based testing.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines and running tests in parallel on Linux Jenkins slaves
• Experience in writing SQL queries and preparing test data would be a plus
• Experience in both automation and manual testing.
• Strong Analytical and Critical thinking skills
