Job Description

AllSTEM Connections is looking to hire a Technical Service Desk Specialist . The details are below -

Rate - $24.62

Contract for 3 months / Temp to Hire

Onsite - Parma, OH


Shift 1 -

Hours - Monday to Friday / 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Total working hours /Week - $37.50 Hours


Shift 2 -

Hours - Monday to Friday / 4 PM to 12:30 AM

Total Working Hours/ Week - 40 hours


Job Summary


This person will perform application administration and support for document scanning software systems. They will troubleshoot issues that are reported via a Service-Now ticketing system from internal as well as external customer personnel. They will also perform other data entry tasks as needed in other systems utilized by the Parma operations team. There is not alot of walking, standing or lifting. Ideal candidates will possess some experience in a like environment or have formal education or a degree with business applications topology, file transfer technologies or applications oriented training and modern coding coursework (i.e. Java, C++, C-Sharp, etc.).


o This person would provide on-site guidance and technical support to production personnel for specialized scanning applications software, FTP file transfer technologies and a variety of file formats.

o They would also be trained to provide level 1 workflow configuration changes to align with a variety of customer workload coming into the operation for electronic scanning and processing.

There will be minimal lifting, waling and standing but it is required.

Must have demonstrable computer knowledge; Technical service desk experience is a plus.


Typically Required:

• 2-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

• CompTIA CTT+ Certification within 12 months of hire.

• Requires basic computer competencies.

• Requires a valid state driver’s license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh policy for positions entailing extensive use of personal car while on company business. • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Possesses self-motivation, strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills.

• Possesses ability to perform job duties and prioritize work without direct supervision.

• Requires time and territory management skills.

• Requires understanding and operation of office imaging products, computer equipment, data communications and related area networks.

• Possesses methodical approach to identifying problems and developing solutions.

• Requires proficient use of Microsoft Office computer programs.

• Possesses excellent customer service skills including ability to present new concepts and follow-up to ensure approved concepts are implemented and maintained.
