The Utah Division of Technology Services (DTS) is looking for a Tech Support Specialist skilled in computer hardware and operating systems, imaging and configuring, troubleshooting, deploying, and tracking computer assets. Experience with SCCM ServiceNow are a big plus.

To learn more about The Division of Technology Services check us out Click here. The State's environment is a highly optimized blend of systems responsible for collecting, processing, and distributing millions of data elements every day.
Primary Duties:
- Building, documenting, and maintaining processes for endpoint management
- Participating and providing feedback and recommendations in developing standards and guidelines for our endpoint management lifecycle
- Imaging, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, deploying, and tracking of computer assets for multiple State agencies
- Providing support and analysis to resolve workflow issues related to provisioning, delivering, deploying, and troubleshooting computer assets
- Monitoring and tracking computer asset orders
- Creating, testing, modifying, and maintaining MECM image task sequences, driver packs and determining other feature options for greater efficiency and ease of use
- Excellent organization and planning skills and the ability to complete tasks/projects on time and without cutting corners
- Experience with troubleshooting systems, hardware, and software
- Experience with Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS
- Experience provisioning multiple computer platforms
- Proven ability to quickly learn and implement unfamiliar technologies
- Employment contingent on passing a drug screening and a background check.
- Work requires physical exertion. May require the ability to stand; walk over rough surfaces; bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, lift moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) in a recurring manner and/or for long periods of time.
- Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
