FLS is looking for a Technical Support Specialist based in the Southeastern US to focus on pumps and cyclones.

This is a fully remote opportunity (but must reside in Southeastern United States) with extensive travel requirements. Candidates already based in the South East US are most ideal and heavy travel to the Dominion Republic required.

By joining the Pumps, Cyclones and Valve's (PCV) organization within FLS, you are joining an extremely dynamic, exciting, and rapidly growing product line.

You will be supported by your manager and peers, contributing to the team's goal of maintaining and growing the installed PCV equipment in the Eastern US & Caribbean.

Job scope

• Identify needs in existing equipment to communicate with Sales Engineers and sell the FLS solutions, as well as new opportunities to replace competitors and install our equipment.
• Support Sales Engineers with site visits to troubleshoot Process and Mechanical issues with our Pumps, Cyclones and Valves.
• Perform pump selections, cyclone simulations and understands milling circuits, flotation circuits, tailing applications and different pumps applications.
• Visit mine sites and customers in Eastern US & Caribbean.
• Prepare professional, clean, and organized reports to present to Sales and Customers.
• Present Mechanical and Process training to customers, on Pumps, Cyclones and Valves

What You Bring

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• College degree BS or BA OR 10+ years mechanical experience
• Ability to speak Spanish at least at an intermediate level
• This position is remote 25% /75% traveling in the Eastern US & Caribbean.
• Respect for deadlines and works independently to reach them.
• Significant experience and knowledge working with pumps and cyclones in the mining industry
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in effectively interfacing with clients and gaining credibility; developing and implementing project-specific sales strategies.
• 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer and/or in a Technical Services role
