“Career in Blood”

This position reports to the Associate Director, Validation /Equipment and works with all Blood Center departments to ensure calibrations and equipment repairs are carried out according to regulations set by FDA, AABB and other accrediting agencies that audit RIBC. This position is key to ensuring consistent documentation of repairs to critical equipment used in the collection, processing and storage of blood products. In addition the Bio Med Technician is responsible for developing and tracking the assets of each department and maintaining the central temperature monitoring system.

This is a full time, 40 hour per week position, on first shift.

The proposed hourly rate for this position is $27.66 to $31.11 per hour. Offers made to an individual candidate will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and job-related education.
