  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to distributed/edge computing and cloud infrastructure.
  • Define and track product metrics, analyze data, and create reports to inform decision-making.
  • Be the Product point person for the Core Software Engineering team, using high-level perspective to define goals and create a vision for Heila’s Core Software, data processing, and cloud infrastructure development efforts.
  • Lead the development and execution of product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for our Core Software systems and cloud infrastructure products.
  • Mentor and coach junior product managers, and lead by example by demonstrating best practices in product management.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure product success.
  • Participate in daily standups, as well as planning, review and retrospective meetings while tracking progress through meetings and results.
  • Lead and maintain product documentation for workflows, processes, and best practices across Core Software and cloud infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

  • Interest in learning about distributed energy equipment and applications – including solar arrays, batteries, generators, fuel cells, among others.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment and using agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. Master’s Degree in technical field preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience distributed/edge computing and cloud infrastructure systems.
  • Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores such as Postgres.
  • Experience with the systems of AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure providers.
