Our web and mobile applications are transforming healthcare information technology to increase practice efficiency and improve patient outcomes. We offer end-to-end specialty-specific solutions from practice management, through EMR to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) that help our clients maximize their efficiencies.


The Technical Consultant II will be responsible for the technical implementation and delivery of our integrated interface products and services. This individual will perform application installations and/or configuration for clients from kickoff through go-live. The incumbent will coordinate activities pursuant to the project timeline to ensure consistently successful deliveries. This role will work collaboratively with other teams, such as Sales, Support Implementation, Training, Product, and Operations. This individual may independently work with development to create necessary solutions for successful implementations.


Your Role


  • Coordinate activities with team members and set deadlines
  • Coordinate with client teams to manage decisions and processes during the implementation period
  • Perform solution upgrades and manage processes from start to finish
  • Work with development teams to improve product through enhancement requests and bug fixes
  • Document problems and resolutions in CRM software
  • Create and maintain technical documents as new products are released
  • Perform configurations for interface implementations
  • Perform integration setup, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical direction, training, and support to internal teams
  • Act as a client escalation to resolve all client requests during the implementation phase
  • Responsible for the technical implementation and delivery of our products/services with a focus on integrations, to include HL7, DICOM and/or other types of interfaces as applicable to the position
  • Perform tasks off-hours as needed to complete specific projects or tasks
  • Lead technical calls with clients and validate that all requirements are met for a given project/timeline


Skills & Requirements


  • Project management and successful Customer service delivery experience
  • Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field preferred
  • Maintains a positive and open attitude to change with an ability to adapt to new situations
  • Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or employees
  • Experience working with MirthConnect or similar integration engines is ideal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management and successful Customer service delivery experience (including working with Enterprise clients)
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create technical documents such as installation guides, and procedure manuals
  • Experience handling sensitive data and PHI
  • Ability to effectively work independently and coordinate team effort
  • Experience working with the following types of interfaces: ADT, SIU, ORU, ORM, as well as working with Health Information Exchanges
  • Ability to quickly learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information
  • Industry knowledge of HL7 and/or DICOM interfaces is a must
  • Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
