Job description

Reports to assigned supervisor and assists with managing book of business of both program underwriting accounts as well as brokerage (wholesale) accounts.Responsible for providing supervisor with information necessary to make sound decisions.Provides support within established performance standards.Assures all related support activities are delivered in a manner consistent with business unit customer service focus.

Must be client-driven and committed to providing superior service to the marketplace as well to his/her supervisor. Must have prior insurance experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.Other duties may be assigned.

• Prepares underwriting / pricing exhibits (i.e., Account Summaries, Loss Runs, Internet Research, and Rate Sheets) as needed.
• Partners withsupervisor to establish support needs (i.e., identify/gather relevant account information to quote and/or bind) for new and renewal business.
• Participates with renewal and new business activities that support quality submission marketing efforts.
• Provides administrative support and other related services as needed.
• Participates with underwriting decisions that are consistent with Division or Department growth and retention goals.
• Manages account documentation (i.e., Account Clearance, Acknowledgement Letters, Underwriting Documentation, Closing Letters).
