Our facilities enable us to create ideal growing conditions for our plants, using 75% less resources than traditional farming requires. We can grow 365 days a year in any environment. Lead a group of individuals to meet the production goals. In this position, you will implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) & maintain records, and data forms. You will be responsible for certain production areas on the floor and for the people who work there. The expectation is that all tasks will be completed in a timely manner and to company standards. We are looking for a Production Team Lead who is: hardworking, dependable, learns fast, takes pride and ownership in their work, and is a great team player with a great attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure employees have the right tools, knowledge, and equipment required to do their jobs effectively and safely.
- Maintain overall responsibility for the performance of the shift, including safety, quality, production, and Maintenance when necessary.
- Deliver structured & ongoing training to our Farm Operators.
- Create an environment that ensures Member involvement and implementation of programs, ideas, and guidelines that ensure fairness to all Members and improve Member morale and work life.
- Provide a safe working environment by maintaining a clean working environment, quality equipment and enforcing adherence to developed work practices.
- Maintain and complete OSHA, food safety, and HACCP paperwork associated with the position.
- Support and guide a team of farm operators to ensure that the farm stays on schedule, from seeding to harvest to packaging to cleaning, & delivery.
- Promote an environment of continuous improvement and commitment to quality.
- Maintain production areas to ensure compliance with company quality, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Requirements:
