The Role

• The candidate will provide 24 x 7 project support for the client
• Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system Monitors usage and performance
• VMware Administrator with strong Windows Server skills supporting the Project Q organization in support of server implementation to include hardware and operating system configuration, installation of applications, installation of supported vendor and Kyndryl tool set, problem management resolution of issues and security compliance of systems for production readiness
• Controls user access and passwords
• Individual must possess an in-depth knowledge of multiple OEM HW and versions of the VMware OS, be able to resolve complex issues, and have experience in data center relocations
• Specializes in installing, maintaining, and upgrading internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing products
• US person/US soil steady state resource for VMware System administrator
• Provide support of the infrastructure by performing administrative functions of the VMware Operating Systems (hardware and software) to include vendor supported tools, support of Kyndryl standard tools and maintain servers in accordance to customer agreed upon security settings
• VMware certification is desired

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $106,840 to $203,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Shared Success Plan.

• Hands On experience with Hardware Platforms
• Advance Installation Skills: vCenter; Operating System Configuration/Tuning Clustering / High Availability / DRS / Vmotion
• Windows Server
• Hands On experience with ESXi OS

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

• VMware Certification
• Security Analyst
• Network Management Skills; Volume / Storage / File System Management
• NSX-T
• Active Directory
• Bachelor's Degree
• VMware Cloud Foundation
