Looking for a rewarding opportunity as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, licensed in Alabama? Look no further! We are a supportive and innovative school district that's looking for an experienced TVI to join our team for the remainder of the school year, with the potential for renewal next year.
At our district, we believe that every student deserves access to the best tele-practice professionals, no matter where they are located. That's why we are excited to offer a fully remote position for a passionate and skilled TVI.
As a TVI with us, you will have the chance to work with a diverse caseload of K-12 students, providing itinerant services and helping them achieve their goals through maintaining IEPs. You'll work on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on your availability, and receive competitive compensation as a 1099 contractor.
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you'll need a Master's degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students, as well as an AL Teaching Certification in Visual Education. You should also have at least two years of school experience and be comfortable with using technology for remote learning (don't worry, we provide training for the software!).
In addition, you'll need to have a home computer with high-speed internet and your own liability insurance. But if you meet these requirements, we'd love to hear from you!
