QA Tester Intern Role

A QA intern is an essential part of Epicurate. We are a hospitality operating system withunmatched personalized service, seamless convenience, and state-of-the-art technology for extraordinary guest experiences. As a QA Tester/automator at Epicurate,your breadth of skills paired with our bottom-up product process will give you as much autonomy and responsibility as you can handle. We are looking for technically strong teammates who are passionate about QA testing, and automation technologies while maintaining our company mission.

Responsibilities

• Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in software testing and automation.
• Participate in bi-weekly meetings to discuss progress, share ideas, and brainstorm solutions for any challenges that arise.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for our products, ensuring thorough coverage of all features and functionality.
• Identify, report, and track software defects, working closely with our engineering team to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
