Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, ensuring that all necessary surgical equipment and supplies are available, and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure that all necessary surgical equipment and supplies are available
• Operate various surgical equipment and tools
• Sterilize instruments and equipment for surgeries
• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures
• Handle specimens for laboratory analysis
• Assist surgeons during procedures, including passing instruments and providing retraction
• Prepare patients for surgery, including cleaning and disinfecting incision sites
• Monitor and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
