Job Description

Your Role In The Family


  • Establishes and maintains an employee relations climate of trust and confidence, promoting achievement of plant objectives
  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions
  • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, and issuing visitor badges
  • Receives deliveries; sort and distributes incoming mail
  • Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communication actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Notifies personnel of visitor arrival
  • Maintains the general office filing systems
  • Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Back up for second shift Receptionist
  • Informs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories
  • Perform other various job duties as required
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for employees
  • Schedules appointments and meetings for employees and coordinates with clients regarding meetings
  • Effectively responds to directions during emergencies by understanding emergency procedures, equipment and systems as necessary; Implements contingency plan to the level required
  • Complies with environmental regulations when using, dispensing, or handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste
  • Greets, welcomes, and directs visitors
  • Takes inventory of supplies and restocks as needed


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN OUR FAMILY?


  • Strong organizational skills, including filing of client and employee documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or German is a plus
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:


  • Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices
  • This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to: talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, grasp, pick, lift, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions. The employee must frequently lift and /or move 50 pounds. The employee is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operate production machines where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach
