Sonoran Roots is excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new dispensary in Chandler, Arizona. We are seeking a qualified receptionist with experience in the cannabis industry. Here's a general overview of the role. Receptionists are the first impression of Ponderosa and must be an ambassador for Ponderosa customer service standards and our company culture. Maintaining a clean and professional environment that aligns with our first-class standards is also crucial to this role.

Job Duties

• Update and maintain current product menus and product listings.
• Collect all incoming mail and disperse to the proper location.
• Direct / Check-In customers in accordance with AZDHS compliance and Ponderosa procedures. Check the customer's state product allowance with the Arizona Department of Health Services Verification System (as applicable).
• Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Safely and compliantly move cannabis products throughout the facility.
• Answer or direct inquiries through proper channels when needed.
• Maintain compliance regarding the management of patient records and all materials containing patient personally identifiable information.
• Keep up with a fast-paced and high-energy environment. We work hard, but we have fun while doing it!
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Welcome customers by warmly greeting them in person or on the telephone.
• Monitor Lobby / Patient Waiting Room ensuring a safe, clean and professional working environment.
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate business for the dispensary.
• Complete daily checklists of tasks with efficiency and precision.
• Maintain an organized work environment and be attentive to details.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
• Maintain a current inventory of office supplies.
• Understand, abide by, and enforce AZ Department of Health Services ("AZDHS") rules, regulations, and compliance standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required)

• Reliable transportation.
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.
• Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
• Ability to stay focused on tasks and meet production goals.
• Quick learner and willing to be coachable and flexible with work tasks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.
• Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will, and do what you say you are going to do.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• A criminal background check will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.
