Overview
Responsible for all activities associated with managing financial, forecasting demand, and planning inventory flows and to meet business objectives by engaging with Sales, Merchandising, Production, Customer Service, and Finance team. The primary focus will be on the Wholesale replenishment business for Brooks Brothers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly maintenance of demand forecasts, inventory flows, and buy projections
- Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy as well as SKU productivity
- Address demand related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management with relevant KPI metrics
- Develop effective replenishment forecast models at optimized sku level based on the latest sales trends and demand patterns with a seasonality of products.
- Drive monthly meeting with Sales Planning and Finance, coming to a consensus on updated demand forecasts with risk and opportunity
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
Qualifications
- Self-driven and highly motivated with a strong attention to accuracy and details
- A bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Ability to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships cross-functionally
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years’ experience in demand and inventory planning required
- Proficient in SAP a plus; Demand Planning Software i.e. 7th Online; and highly developed Excel skills.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
Requirements & EEO Statement
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to position offered and work experience. In addition to your salary, SPARC Group, and its affiliated brands, offers a benefits package, including 401(k) plan, overtime pay, flexible work schedule and a generous employee discount program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
