Job Description
Summary


The Demand Planner is the integration point into the sales and commercial organization. Sales forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position. This position leads communication for their respective customers and products with key counterparts in Supply Chain (Purchasing, SCM, Warehouse, Sales and Marketing, etc.)



  • Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives.
  • Make recommended adjustments to the sales forecasts and inventory targets, based on changes in demand and market trends.
  • Calculate weekly and monthly sales forecasts based on historical information and additional market information.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and/or market analyses as requested.


Qualifications


  • Demand Planning / Forecasting systems knowledge and experience preferred.
  • SAP or other similar ERP systems knowledge and experience required.
  • 2 - 3 years related experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.
  • Consistency. Resilience. Show a long-term career plan with KISS.
  • Good communication and team building skills, good people managing skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities.
