Description
The Self Enhancement Sun School Co-Manager organizes SUN School program activities and is the point of contact for the assigned elementary, middle or high school administration. This position is full-time and reports to the SUN School Program Manager.
Primary Job Responsibilities

• Implements annual operating budget.
• Organizes, plans and manages the implementation of all after school program services at assigned elementary, middle or high school.
• Builds opportunities to effectively link the school day with after-school activities and programs.
• Facilitates partnerships to establish a network of resources to supplement and support the extended day program. Collaborates with key community and school leaders to maximize existing resources and to obtain new programs in alignment with the Sun School annual plan.
• Ensures contract compliance is maintained.
• Serves as the primary contact for school administrators and is responsible for managing the communication process between Self Enhancement and the assigned school administration.
• Oversees data collection requirements and interfaces with MIS department regarding system implementation and process.
• Monitors deliverables and timelines and identifies, tracks, manages and resolves program issues to ensure work assigned is completed on time and within budget.
• Ensures student engagement in all programs, services and activities as appropriate.
• Attends school staff meetings at assigned site.
• Introduces and promotes Sun School programs and activities to students, families, school staff and the community.
• Assists with designing and managing volunteer systems within the school as they relate to extended day programs.
• Oversees scheduling, coordination and evaluation of after-school programs, services and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least two (2) years of progressive leadership and supervisory skills.
• Experience in program and curriculum development and implementation.
• Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Program management experience, preferably in an academic environment.
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must be insurable under SEIs auto insurance.
• Degree in Education, Public Administration or related field plus three (3) years of experience directly related to the position. Extensive experience may be substituted for education requirement.
• Basic computer literacy and skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to successfully motivate others and influence change.
