We’re hiring a Warehouse Manager.
Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Warehouse Manager for its manufacturing facility in Franklin, OH to manage information and physical flows inside the plant related to PCL activities: reception, storage, transfer/delivery to production line, collection of Finished goods from production line and shipments.
You’ll work on challenges that matter.
This job will require you to:
- Manage the returnable packaging flows inside the plant (and in collaboration with MPTS platform and/or local material planners).
- Ensure strict respect and application of PC&L standards (FCP), ICB, HSE, Safety and FES recommendations, lead the eventual convergence plans related to PC&L shopfloor activities with the support of PC&L improvement coordinator.
- Ensure the proper management of alert system (ap to standard) and escalation process in the shop floor and in collaboration with other relevant PCL, Plant, and corporate functions.
- Ensure internal customer satisfaction: anticipate mid- and long-term evolutions of shop floor activities in term of resources, staffing and skills with customer requirements (PIC), impact of launch of new programs and digital solutions implementations.
- Execution Ensure the day-to-day activities related to reception, allocation of parts to storage location, deliveries to production line, withdraw of finished goods from production line, bookings, TPA preparation, shipment, and alert management with adequate staffing affectation to ensure the PC&L Standards respect.
- Plant contact point with MPTS platform (if no Local Material Planner).
- Lead the improvement of FCS usage for internal flow management (Booking, transfers, storage) and interface with external flow management (Reception, shipment), ensure the readiness of the plant for Digital solutions implementation and lead these implementations activities with the support of PC&L improvement coordinator.
- Ensure full inventory accuracy through proper analysis in case of deviance and lead the cycle counting operations in all warehouse locations from plant scope, in relationship with all PC&L functions, ECC and PCL Launch for new programs, including material planners and master schedulers.
- Improve logistics performance: surface optimization, labor efficiency, handling utilization, HSE, alert management with strong support from PC&L improvement coordinator as well as other plant functions (Quality, FES, ME, Finance).
The ideal candidate.
To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:
- Minimum bi-lingual (English required).
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
- Experience in operations, especially in production or supply chain, knowledge of Safety and Quality basics are requested, management experiences and FCS knowledge are a plus.
- Customer orientation / Leadership / Team spirit / Autonomy / Openness to new ideas.
- Bachelor or degree in engineering or supply-chain management or equivalent.
