Position Overview: SCC Consultant
Are you passionate about statistics and methodology? Are you keen to contribute your expertise to support fellow students' research projects and doctoral dissertations? If so, we invite you to join our esteemed Statistics Consultation Center as an SCC Consultant. As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact and play a crucial role in the academic success of your peers.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the SCC Student Manager to receive statistics consultations.
Engage in meaningful discussions with student clients, addressing their statistical questions and concerns.
Provide clear and concise answers to specific research issues.
Conduct research to find innovative solutions to complex questions and contribute valuable resources to our SCC library.
Embrace additional duties as assigned by the SCC Student Manager and SCC Director, contributing to the overall growth of our academic community.
Required Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Enrolled as a current student at our esteemed university (PAU).
Completion of RM&S I, II, and III, as well as psychometrics courses.
Desired: Prior experience as a TA for RM&S and/or psychometrics courses.
Desired: Additional coursework and/or applied experience in advanced statistics/quantitative methods (e.g., structural equation modeling).
