Your New Role

As a Stores Assistant you will be assisting the Store Supervisor in managing and carrying out all related Stores functions from materials receiving, inventory control to parts allocating and issuing.

What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Produce sub-assemblies as needed.
• Unload, receive, and stock incoming parts – please note heavy lifting is involved in this role
• Perform any other AD HOC duties
• Communicate with Sales, as needed, in regarding to parts status on Sales order(s)
• Pick parts to job instructions and make kits as required to Sales orders and Production Manufacturing orders
• Correspond with purchasing on parts shortages, expediting, and maintain the information on the production schedule.
• Perform parts control in stores from receiving to issuing with computerized inventory control.
• Keep the production schedule up to date with the parts status for each scheduled job describing if the jobs are fully kitted or if they have parts shortages.
• Update the parts re-order list as the communication to purchasing for ordering the required parts.

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria:

• Attention to Details
• Previous retail/ warehousing experience is desirable, but not necessary
• Computer literate in ERP system environment (Microsoft Navision ERP)
• Good English language skills both verbally & written
