YETI is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Digital Product Manager - Stores that will help to expand digital growth within our eCommerce omnichannel ecosystem. In this role, you will support transformational priorities on the digital product roadmap, reporting directly to our Senior Manager, Digital Product.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, prioritization, development, optimization, and maintenance of digital products related to the retail stores of YETI. You will work closely with the other digital product managers and collaborate with teams across UX/UI Design, Engineering and IT, Merchandising and Store Operations.

This person will need to ensure the successful delivery of digital solutions that enhance the in-store customer experience and drive business growth, helping to advance the growing agile product development function for YETI.com.

You will need to be very comfortable gleaning insights from data, making decisions to prioritize greatest impact for effort, and communicate clearly and proactively across teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, results-oriented, and has a desire to achieve big wins and incremental improvement. This individual should have a deep understanding of e-commerce, a heavy familiarity with omnichannel retail and a passion to improve the consumer experience both offline and online.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Planning and Roadmap: Create and manage a product roadmap, outlining the features, enhancements, and capabilities required for the digital store experience. Prioritize initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability.
  • Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and work with analytics partner(s) to measure the success and impact of digital store products. Work with analytics and user research partner(s) to gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Strategy Development: You will support key transformational initiatives, from planning to strategy to execution to measurement of YETI's growing omnichannel digital strategy. You will enhance the in-store experience and align digital products offline and online to meet overall business objectives and customer needs. You must be able to lean on a deep understanding consumer needs and trends to uncover business value.
  • Agile Product Development: Set clear direction for teams, anchoring to business impact to prioritize. You should be self-directed in execution and require limited supervision in executing your swim lane of the digital product roadmap, as part of the overall product strategy and overarching company goals. Coordinate with development and user experience design teams to bring concepts to life, providing clear guidance and requirements during the process. Iterate and deliver high-quality digital products within established timelines and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including senior management, development teams, and store operations, providing regular updates on product status, milestones, and any potential roadblocks. You will hear the desired outcomes and priorities for Senior Leadership and execute a roadmap to deliver against those priorities. Present product strategies and results to key stakeholders as needed.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: You should be familiar with optimizing product features through A/B testing. You'll analyze product data and make iterative product changes based on consumer feedback. You will collaborate with build teams to define test plans and ensure thorough testing of digital products. Monitor and address any bugs, performance issues, or usability concerns to ensure a smooth and error-free in-store experience.
  • User Experience (UX): Work closely with UX designers to create intuitive, engaging, and seamless digital store experiences. Ensure the user interface is optimized for ease of use, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and platforms. You should carry a curiosity to learn what works, what doesn't, and why.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including store operations, marketing, and customer service teams, to understand their needs and translate them into clear and actionable product requirements. Lead strategy for market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Prior experience driving conversion, average order value and attach rates online and offline
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
  • At least 6 years of proven experience as a digital product manager, preferably with a focus on retail stores or customer experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with cross-functional digital retail teams
  • Excellent relationship building skills; highly collaborative
  • YETI offers a hybrid work environment, but this role must be based in Austin, TX and in-office Tu/Wed/Thu weekly
  • Comfortable speaking to colleagues across teams, from peers to senior leadership
  • Analytically-minded, detail-oriented and curious
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Tableau
  • Concise and organized communication; both written and verbal/in presentation

US Workplace Approach:

  • Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
  • Onsite: Role requires you to be onsite full-time.
  • Remote: Role is full-time remote.
