About the Position – Staffing & Event Coordinator, Remote
Are you passionate about connecting with individuals across different platforms and bringing them together to create meaningful experiences? If you love managing relationships from their inception, recruiting, training, and placing individuals in exciting roles, then this position might just be perfect for you.
As the Staffing & Event Coordinator, you will play an integral role in the growth and success of Brand Besties. Your mission is to identify, recruit, and manage our Field Besties, and handle staffing logistics of our client's events. Your knack for problem-solving will be essential in identifying potential challenges related to staffing budgets, resources, and timelines, and taking swift action to resolve them.
In this role, you will be required to navigate and utilize a variety of social platforms to reach out to potential talent. This could involve reaching out to models, actors, artists, students in sororities, or simply anyone who fits our brand. Being comfortable tapping into your personal networks will be essential, as is a natural inclination to pitch our business to potential new recruits.
Furthermore, you will oversee the hiring and scheduling of freelance event staff, which include brand ambassadors, promotional models, hostess, event managers, spot savers, you name it! . Your ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously will be crucial, as will your attention to detail, as you ensure all staff members are adequately prepared for their events, arrive on time, and accurately log their working hours.
Your role will involve a significant amount of project management and schedule coordination. Despite working remotely, maintaining a flexible schedule will be necessary due to the nature of our industry. Meeting deadlines and adhering to project timelines will be a top priority.
Moreover, we currently have a manual payroll reporting process for all the Field Besties we work with across the country. You'll need to have a strong grasp of this process and be able to handle the responsibility of tracking payroll and people's time.

Looking for:
- Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision.
- Able to work nonstandard work hours and weekends as required.
- Strong sense of urgency, ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms for recruitment purposes.
- Experience or familiarity with tracking payroll and managing project timelines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven track record of sourcing candidates directly or managing people.
- Experience in the marketing/advertising/agency industry preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant staffing, recruiting, or agency experience preferred but not required as we train the right person for this role
- Curiosity of federal and state employment laws.
Compensation:
We value our team and we believe in paying people for the great work they do. For this position, we're offering a competitive salary range between $45,000 and $58,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
