Staff Quality Engineer | Gigafactory Tx

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Staff Manufacturing Quality Engineer to oversee design for quality launch considerations for Tesla’s growing number of vehicle products and lines. This position will report to the Manufacturing Quality team within Tesla’s Vehicle Engineering organization; the mission of this team is to support Tesla in launching new vehicle products better, faster, and with a critical focus on customer safety.

The Staff Manufacturing Quality Engineer will drive the execution of quality goals and objectives from integration builds through the first customer deliveries for new products and lines. This role will be critical in representing the voice of quality in integration build phases and following through on ramp-limiting and customer saleable issues. As the Staff Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will be expected to work cross-functionally to identify and prioritize potential product and process failures and drive both corrective and preventative actions.
