Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our congenial finance team. In this role, you will work closely with our Assistant Controller and Senior Accountants to support a growing business. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, strong excel skills, and experience in accrual accounting and multi-currencies. You should be detail-oriented, an independent thinker and problem solver, and driven to succeed with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities for this role will include day-to-day treasury and bank activities, accounting including cash reconciliations, month-end financial close, Balance Sheet and P&L analysis, and more. You will be responsible for accounting activity for both foreign and domestic subsidiaries, record accruals and month-end journal entries, reconcile various cash and intercompany accounts, manage and reconcile fee fund accounts, maintain cash forecast schedules, perform variance analysis, and participate in ad hoc projects.
To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minor in accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel), superior attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information is also required.
