Nature and Scope of Job
The Sr. ServiceNow UX/UI Developer will be responsible for responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering and document requirements
- Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.
- Lead efforts and provide guidance in requirements gathering and developing/documenting process workflows
- Ensure code is in compliance with architectural standards and future direction
- ServiceNow development, ServicePortal, UI/UX design, and ServiceNow process workflow.
- Serve as the Senior ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices
- Participate in discovery sessions and process definitions with team lead and other developers
- Collaborate with UX engineers and designers to implement markup/designs
- Convert a set of current UI components from Backbone to Angular JS
- Develop common UI components for re-use across the application portfolio, leveraging Agular JS
- Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the team lead.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Qualifications
- Modern JavaScript Libraries (Angular, Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery)
- 5 years of direct ServicePortal development experience with ServiceNow
- 3 years of experience designing and developing ServiceNow, ServicePortal prototype and Wildframe
- Understanding of UX best practices
- Excellent HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Angular JS/Bootstrap 3 framework experience
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (preferred), ServiceNow ServicePortal Micro-Certification (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with process flow documentation creation
