Software Engineer (Nodejs) Jobs

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Remote Node.js Developer to join our talent pool. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust backend solutions using Node.js. Your expertise in server-side programming, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming will be critical in delivering high-quality software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and product managers, to create scalable and efficient applications.

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply them to enhance existing systems
• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
• Continuously improve development processes and tools to enhance team productivity
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by clients or internal stakeholders in a timely manner
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure seamless functionality
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability

Requirements:

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Understanding of database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Proficient understanding of server-side templating languages (such as EJS, Handlebars, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js frameworks (Express, Koa, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role
