Job Description
Description:

  • Work with internal customer teams to understand future growth opportunities.
  • Conducting WBR’s< MBR’s and QBR’s to manage carrier performance
  • Work along legal team to negotiate and renew contracts with shipping companies to establish long term relationships that are beneficial to both parties
  • Develop and maintain carrier relationships with current Logistics providers such as USPS, Fedex, UPS and DHL Express to ensure that the company has access to the best shipping rates available
  • Reviewing rates and terms of service offered by current/new shipping companies to ensure that the company’s rates are competitive
Requirements:

  • Assist in the development of new business opportunities
  • Work with other departments to resolve issues with shipments
  • Keep abreast of changes in transportation regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Prepare reports on carrier performance
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate as necessary
  • Negotiate service contracts with carriers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments
  • Monitor carrier performance and compliance with company policies
  • Respond to carrier requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with carriers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all carrier relations inquiries
