Procurement Manager Jobs

Responsible for procurement actions in support of Network Architecture and Engineering. This role will lead and manage category strategy, vendor relationships, process improvement efforts and drive savings opportunities. This role will be responsible for drafting, interpreting, negotiating, and executing requests for MSAs, Amendments, Product Schedules and Statements of Work (SOW’s). In addition, this role will also be responsible for sourcing activities such as RFPs, RFQs and RFIs; as well as materials management activities. The Procurement Manager will need to work closely with peers and leaderships of other functions such as product management, engineering, legal, accounting, and business units, to ensure efficiency and support of goods and services. This role is key in managing highly complex and significant vendor agreements and relationships across multiple commodities.

• Ensure adnce to corporate policies and processes.
• Develops category portfolios detailing key stakeholders, suppliers, competitive landscape and procurement strategy for the category.
• Ability to analyze and make decisions based on financial data
• Delivers against targets related to cost reduction / avoidance, supplier rationalization and internal customer satisfaction.
• Develop supplier performance evaluation criteria and lead supplier performance management discussions.
• Improves on time/quality performance, settles vendor disputes, and builds alliances and relationships with strategic vendors. Identifies cross functional savings opportunities, develops the corresponding strategies and executes against those strategies.
• Lead all phases of sourcing and contracting initiatives for complex, multi-million dollar projects.
• Create and deliver Executive presentations in support of key initiatives and business decisions.
• Collaborate with functional business unit owners to understand strategic roadmaps, develop procurement & sourcing strategies which meet the needs of the business, execute on contracts that maximize value and mitigate risk.
• Provides thought leadership that is recognized across the company. Continually identifies and implements new opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, efficiencies and proactively tracks progress towards these objectives. Independently prepares and presents advanced business cases, return on investment models and change management programs to stakeholders and senior management. Apply advanced procurement, supply chain/sourcing principles, theories and concepts.
• Negotiate and interpret contract provisions, communicating potential contract, supply chain, and/or economic risks to impacted parties. Determine and communicate implications of solutions and decisions on customer, supplier and company goals.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• Demonstrated communication and project management skills working with cross-functional teams
• Experience managing supplier relationships for an assigned set of products and/or services including regular supplier performance reviews and discussions
• Strong to expert knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba and Oracle.
• Minimum 3 plus years of related experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; self-motivated; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to process large amounts of often complex data; detail oriented.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, intermediate to advanced Excel, including vlookup, pivot table analysis and ability to aggregate and analyze data
• Intermediate to advanced professional experience in the sourcing and/or contracting (negotiations, drafting and administration)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high visibility environment with frequently shifting priorities

• 5-plus years of related experience
• Intermediate to advanced sourcing and negotiating contracts in the Technology/Telecom Sector, including but not limited to: Hardware, Software and Services.
• Experience with eProcurement tools such as Zycus, Ivalua, Ariba, Coupa, etc.
• Experience with Contract Management Systems (CMS), such as Ariba, Agiloft, Conga Contracts, Intelagree, etc.)
• Experience with data analytics tools for spend analysis such as Power BI, Tableau, and FiAddin
