Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative candidate with the desire to manage multiple projects to join our Procurement Excellence team. This role is an exciting opportunity for procurement professional to join a fast-growing company with 8000 + employees across the world. The Procurement Excellence team has broad accessibility to define policies, objective execution, and a deep involvement in procurement organization evolution. The Procurement Excellence Manager will provide project support for performance management, compliance, technology and tools, and data analytics to effect continuous improvement and meet departmental goals. Reporting to Procurement Excellence Head, this role will assist with establishing and monitoring adoption/compliance of procurement policies and processes; administration and training of procurement platform and integrated applications to support end to end procurement; generating performance metrics and indicators to support the business goals.
Essential Functions of the job:
  • Establish a centralized repository for procurement policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring that they are well-documented and easily accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure that procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Additional activities may be carried based on priorities
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Track and manage open audit points
  • Provide guidance and training to procurement staff and other stakeholders on procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Monitor procurement activities and identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of procurement activities.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to enhance procurement skills and promote compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, CSOPs and processes that comply with organizational standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and develop strategies to improve procurement processes.
  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular reviews of procurement activities to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Mandarin Speaking, Writing and Reading optional.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects, with an ability to prioritize individual workload based on business needs and deadlines
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Excel, SharePoint, Word, Visio, Power Point, and Power BI
  • Process re-engineering experience is required
  • Maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a medium to large professional Global Pharmaceutical company
  • Experience with Ariba implementation program is required (other S2P suites possible)
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Knowledge and Experience across various procurement categories (direct, indirect and R&D)
  • Advanced English level is required
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills;
  • Excellent judgment, influencing skills and leadership abilities in working with different stakeholders particularly with Senior Leadership;
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to resolve complex matters;
  • Multi-cultural experience and languages preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical experience is highly preferred

Salary Range: $103,700.00 - $143,700.00 annually

Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
